PIn August 2017, Camilo Cuadros was awarded 1st Place in the Corporate Category at the Blockchain Nordic Summit, a prestigious event hosted by the University of Copenhagen’s Department of Computer Science (DIKU). This summit, organized as part of the Hiperfit Blockchain Summer School, brought together top minds in blockchain research, industry innovation, and digital finance from across Northern Europe.
Held from August 14 to August 18, 2017, the summit challenged participants to design real-world blockchain-based solutions with high-impact potential. Camilo, competing in the corporate category, led a multidisciplinary team to develop a cutting-edge decentralized solution that stood out among dozens of entries for its innovation, technical excellence, and potential for real-world application.
The project was recognized with the Hiperfit Blockchain Award, which honors the best corporate-oriented blockchain solution presented during the summit. The recognition reflects Camilo’s strong ability to lead innovation in emerging technologies, and his commitment to applying blockchain in meaningful, scalable ways.
This achievement not only highlighted his leadership in the blockchain space early in his career, but also laid the foundation for his continued work in tech-driven entrepreneurship.
